After a hot day on the beach, return to your luxurious hotel and get ready for the evening. They are looking forward to a romantic and elegant dinner at sunset. Your skin is still warm. You hear the sound of the sea from which a light, salty breeze blows. Parfums M. Micallef, together with Osswald, was inspired by this very moment to create the new, exclusive fragrance. A perfume that gives you always sun, elegance and relaxation.
Geoffrey Nejman From Parfums M. Micallef
Perfumes M. Micallef was founded in 1996 in Grasse and has become a well-known name in the world of luxury perfumery.
With passion and talent, Geoffrey Nejman and the renowned perfumer Jean Claude Astier develop exceptional fragrances, while Martine Micallef creates beautiful and hand-decorated bottles with her artistic flair.
What motivated you to become a perfumer?
Geoffrey Nejman: The love and shared passions with my wife Martine have made me become a perfumer. I was still working as a banker when I discovered my fascination with niche fragrances, the secrets of perfume development and high-quality raw materials. But in the end, it was Martine who said to me, “Okay, let’s make perfumes!”.
Where do you find ideas for your creations?
You can find ideas and inspiration almost everywhere if you open your heart to it and try to explore the world with all your senses. Traveling to exotic places inspires me a lot.
What do M. Micallef fragrances stand for?
They are the quintessence of what you can experience with perfumes. They are created for the connoisseur and united under our motto of art and perfumery. By art, I mean not only the design of the bottle and the packaging but also the artistic side of the fragrance.
What inspired you to develop Azure Crystal?
Working with a team as dynamic as Osswald is an inspiration to me. It feels like a musician playing with a whole orchestra. It was both a challenge and a great pleasure to olfactorize the moods, feelings and images of the whole team. We have succeeded in creating an ode to joy, summer and perfumery.
